In 1994, the band released its self-titled album to an industry that had seen much change since 1989's DR. FEELGOOD. With Nine Inch Nails atop the charts, the John Corabi-led Crue went for a darker sound. Although the record surprised longtime fans upon release, hindsight has proved that the album rocks as convincingly as any Crue effort.\n\"Power to the Music\" and \"Hooligans Holiday\" are grunge-metal tracks with a radio friendly vibe. \"Misunderstood\" is a powerful track about people whose lives have passed them by. The hippyish \"Loveshine\" takes a cue from Led Zeppelin's prime years. \"Hammered\" ferociously drives its anti-drug message home thanks to the skin bashing of Tommy Lee. \"Babykills,\" a rare bonus track, includes studio banter from the band. \"Livin' in the Know,\" one of two unreleased tracks, tells of bassist Nicki Sixx's disgust with the band's lawyers. MOTLEY CRUE continues to gain admiration among Crueheads as the years go by. Though it's a departure from the band's classic glam-metal sound, MOTLEY CRUE still sports a take-no-prisoners attitude, the mark of a great Crue record.","brand":"Motley Crue","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":44589332758761,"sku":"VB3NNU-XBK7-00","price":20.98,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/3523\/8633\/files\/motley-crue-motley-crue_YEHdH.jpg?v=1758788451","url":"https:\/\/www.vibinvinyl.com\/products\/motley-crue-motley-crue","provider":"Vibin' Vinyl","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
