{"product_id":"social-distortion-mainliner-wreckage","title":"MAINLINER (WRECKAGE","description":"Personnel: Mike Ness, Mike Palm (vocals, guitar); Dennis Danell (guitar); Irvin Jarrett (drums, snare drum); Derek O'Brien (drums).\nRecording information: 04\/1981-10\/1981.\nPhotographer: Ed Colver.\nAs the title suggests, this is a collection of the venerable California hardcore band's early material, and as such it's a trifle derivative. The band wears its immediate influences--the Sex Pistols, the Clash, the Ramones--on its sleeve here, and the tinny low-fi sound (emblematic of the D.I.Y. spirit of the early '80s) also makes MAINLINER something of a period piece. Still, one can hear hints of the far more original work to come, particularly on the slower, sort of EXILE ON MAINSTREET-goes-punk tracks like \"Playpen.\" There's also a nice brash take on the Stones' \"Under My Thumb,\" a song that would later turn up (in far more polished and effective form) as a hidden track on Social Distortion's 1996 WHITE LIGHT, WHITE HEAT, WHITE TRASH.","brand":"Social Distortion","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":44589464846569,"sku":"HHSNKP-IRNR-00","price":19.98,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0654\/3523\/8633\/files\/social-distortion-mainliner-wreckage_8XGNM.jpg?v=1759397566","url":"https:\/\/www.vibinvinyl.com\/products\/social-distortion-mainliner-wreckage","provider":"Vibin' Vinyl","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
