Album Overview

ColleGrove is a collaborative hip-hop project from 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, officially released under 2 Chainz’s name in 2016. The title combines 2 Chainz’s roots in College Park, Georgia with Lil Wayne’s connection to Hollygrove in New Orleans, reflecting the longstanding musical friendship between the two Southern rap artists.

The thirteen-track album features “Bounce,” “Gotta Lotta,” “Blue C-Note,” and “Section,” alongside tracks including “Dedication,” “Smell Like Money,” “MFN Right,” “Bentley Truck,” and “Rolls Royce Weather Every Day.” Lil Wayne appears throughout much of the project, while production comes from contributors including Mannie Fresh, Metro Boomin, Mike WiLL Made-It, Zaytoven, Southside, London on da Track, TM88, and others.

This 2016 U.S. vinyl edition presents the complete album across two standard-weight black vinyl LPs in a single-pocket jacket through Def Jam Recordings.

Why You’ll Love It
