Album Overview
Welcome 2 Collegrove is a collaborative studio album from 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne, released in 2023. The project reunites the longtime collaborators for a follow-up to 2016’s ColleGrove, with its title again combining 2 Chainz’s College Park, Georgia roots with Lil Wayne’s connection to Hollygrove in New Orleans.
The 21-track album features “Presha,” “Long Story Short,” “Transparency,” and “Oprah & Gayle,” alongside tracks including “Big Diamonds,” “Millions from Now,” “Godzilla,” “Crown Snatcher,” and “Moonlight.” Guest appearances include 21 Savage, Usher, Fabolous, Benny the Butcher, Vory, Rick Ross, and Marsha Ambrosius, while 50 Cent narrates a series of scenes throughout the album.

Why You’ll Love It
Welcome 2 Collegrove brings together two distinctive Southern hip-hop voices whose musical partnership stretches back years. 2 Chainz’s measured delivery and Lil Wayne’s unpredictable flows play off one another across hard-edged rap, soulful production, melodic crossover moments, and narrative interludes, making the album a true joint project rather than a collection of occasional collaborations.
