Release Overview
Björk’s The Fossora Remixes reimagines two tracks from her 2022 album Fossora through adventurous electronic production and club-focused experimentation. Released exclusively for Record Store Day 2023, the double A-side single pairs Sega Bodega’s remix of “Ovule,” featuring Shygirl, with Sideproject’s remix of “Atopos.”
“Ovule” is transformed through Sega Bodega’s bass-heavy production and additional vocals from Shygirl, while Icelandic electronic trio Sideproject pushes “Atopos” further into fractured rhythms, heavy low end, and experimental club music.
This limited edition 12-inch single is pressed on crystal-clear vinyl at 45 RPM. Its reversible sleeve features imagery by Nick Knight and Viðar Logi, finished with black metallic hot-foil lettering and design by M/M Paris.
