Bobby Goldsboro is a thoroughly professional guitarist, songwriter, arranger, and singer who managed to turn shallow soap opera sentiment into impossibly infectious Top 40 hits several times in his career. This brief collection assembles his biggest hits, including the hooky "Little Things" and the love it or hate it "Honey," which is mawkish and overbearingly maudlin, but still hit big in 1968, and again in 1975, and is no doubt lurking for another revival. ~ Steve Leggett
