Commemorating the tenth anniversary of Children of Bodom's classically-fueled, breakthrough second album, Fontana International releases this special edition of HATEBREEDER, which features two bonus tracks (cover versions of Stone's "No Commands" and Iron Maiden's "Aces High") as well as a video clip for the song "Downfall". Personnel: Alexander Kuoppala (guitar); Jaska Raatikainen (drums). Audio Mixer: Mikko Karmila. Recording information: Astia-Studios (12/1998-01/1999). Originally released in 1999 through Spinefarm/Nuclear Blast, this release caused a major stir in the metal community because it greyed the lines between several of metal's impassioned subgenres. HATEBREEDER could be called the first-ever neo-classical, melodic black/death/thrash/power metal album in existence.
