Album Overview
!!! (Chk Chk Chk) push their dance-punk sound into new territory on Let It Be Blue, the band’s ninth studio album. Released in 2022 through Warp Records, the album combines electronic production, funk-driven rhythms, indie rock, disco, and alternative dance with an increasingly pop-focused approach.
For Let It Be Blue, the band embraced a more digitally driven recording process, developing much of the music electronically before bringing the songs together into their final arrangements. The result is one of !!!’s most eclectic releases, moving between acoustic textures, electronic grooves, dancefloor rhythms, and playful pop experimentation while retaining the rhythmic energy at the center of the band’s sound.
This standard black vinyl LP edition was released by Warp Records as catalog number WARPLP339 and includes a printed inner sleeve and download card. Across 11 tracks, the album features highlights such as “Storm Around the World,” “Here’s What I Need to Know,” “Man on the Moon,” and “This Is Pop 2.”
