Cycle Sluts From Hell: Queen Vixen, Honey 1%er, She Fire Ice, Venus Penis Crusher, Lord Roadkill. Audio Mixer: Glen Robinson. Audio Remasterer: Roger Lomas. Liner Note Author: Malcolm Dome. Recording information: The Hit Factory, New York, NY. Photographer: David LaChapelle. Playing fast, simple, thundering heavy metal, the Cycle Sluts From Hell could almost be compared to L7, were it not for the fact that they were so cartoonish. Taking Joan Jett's trashy, badass-mama persona to an aggressive extreme, both musically and attitude-wise, the Cycle Sluts come up with such entertainingly silly anthems as "Conqueress," "By the Balls," the occasionally aired-by-MTV "I Wish You Were a Beer," and, of course, "Badass Mama." If you like the attitude, you may like the album, but since the Cycle Sluts don't share Jett's ear for consistently good material, it may also wear thin. ~ Steve Huey
