Producers: D, Kevin "Khao" Cates, Charles Harmon, Dr. Fangaz. Dirty's rap style is fast, furious, down and--well, dirty. The rhymes, disses and obscenities fly by so fast you have to really listen to catch them. But they're smart and catchy, and the pair have their production skills down cold. Maybe it's the nappy hair, shorts and long stockings the pair favor, but it's hard not to find Dirty endearing, despite THE PIMP & THA GANGSTA's usual heavy pimpin' subject matter--guns, ho's, sex, and drugs. They're also pretty hot on something called freakin' on the floor, which presumably beats shooting people. Their rhythms and delivery are consistently more imaginative than the duo's subject matter--these two seem to spent more time driving, smoking weed at their crib, ripping off and getting ripped off in turn, than did Cheech and Chong.
