EPMD: Erick Sermon, Parrish "PMD" Smith (vocals). Additional personnel includes: LL Cool J (vocals). The third album from EPMD, BUSINESS AS USUAL, is the duo's most aptly titled album ever. In 1991, when the album was originally released, EPMD was making a solid claim at becoming one of hip-hop's greatest acts. After two straight gold albums and an ever-growing fan base, BUSINESS AS USUAL could not have been released with better timing. Hard-core tracks such as "I'm Mad," "Gold Digger," and "Manslaughter" firmly entrenched EPMD at the top of the hip-hop food chain. By this time, EPMD had won over its fans by delivering over and over again the typical trunk-funk tracks that they had come to expect. Vocally, the green-eyed bandit and PMD are both on point as usual. The killer cut "Rampage" has a guest appearance from LL Cool J. BUSINESS AS USUAL is just that.
