Album Overview
Fever Ray captures the energy and reinvention of the There’s No Place I’d Rather Be Tour on The Year of the Radical Romantics, a live album documenting the era surrounding 2023’s Radical Romantics. The performances bring together songs from across Karin Dreijer’s catalog, reshaped by the musicians who accompanied Fever Ray on tour.
The album features live versions of Radical Romantics tracks including “What They Call Us,” “New Utensils,” “Shiver,” “Kandy,” “Even It Out,” and “Carbon Dioxide,” alongside transformed versions of earlier Fever Ray songs such as “When I Grow Up,” “Mustn’t Hurry,” “To the Moon and Back,” “I’m Not Done,” and “If I Had a Heart.”
The Radical Romantics Sessions were performed with touring musicians Minna Koivisto on keyboards, Romarna Campbell on drums, and Maryam Nikandish and Helena Gutarra on keytars and vocals. The collection also includes two Therapy Session recordings of “I’m Not Done” and “Now’s the Only Time I Know,” extending the album’s reinterpretation of Fever Ray’s earlier material.
This 2025 indie-exclusive edition presents the complete 14-track album across two black 140-gram vinyl records. The limited pressing is individually numbered and housed in a gatefold jacket with printed inner sleeves and two double-sided A2 posters.
