Photographer: Nick Sangiamo. The Guess Who's follow-up to their best-selling AMERICAN WOMAN, SHARE THE LAND features similarly poignant, catchy, and heartfelt hard rock. It's notable as their first album without founding member and chief songwriter Randy Bachman (later of Bachman-Turner Overdrive), but it nevertheless holds up to its illustrious predecessor. The sublime "Do You Miss Me Darlin'" contrasts effectively with the cocksure boldness of the title track, both enwrapped in that big, clear rock production of the early 70s. The 2000 reissue adds two demos featuring Bachman, placing the whole record in a new, fascinating context.
