Legendary blues guitar rocker Johnny Winter was truly in his element live on-stage, and he regularly recorded concerts for his personal use over his four-decade-plus career. Winter released them on his own over the years as a sort of bootleg series, of which this set is the 11th volume, and finds him, a powerful electric slide guitar player with a roaring voice, shredding away on classics like Taj Mahal's "E-Z Rider" and Jimmy Reed's "Baby What's Wrong." ~ Steve Leggett
