While a hit was never hatched, the album was another inspired effort. The band's vocal harmonies and hard rock riffs are outstanding on such cuts as "The Train," "(Thinking and Wondering) What I'm Gonna Do," "A Box," and "Looking for Love." EAR CANDY turned out to be their final studio album for Atlantic, as they moved on to Metal Blade for TAPE HEAD two years later.
