The Florida band’s music comes on with the force of a hurricane, clearing everything in its path with the singular mission to deliver the heaviest record of the band’s career. Yes, there are moments of powerful melodics and a seamless implementation of other genres woven into this turbocharged, metallic mix. But make no mistake. Landfall is Wage War giving less than zero fucks, taking no canned advice, and listening to absolutely no one but their collective creative mission and gut instincts. But Landfall is hardly heavy for the sake of being heavy; it’s intentional and every riff every breakdown and every bloodcurdling scream hits where it's supposed to!
