Loverboy includes: Mike Reno (vocals); Paul Dean (guitar). This is part of Legacy Recordings' Super Hits series. While the 1994 collection CLASSICS features only the certified hits of Loverboy's career, 1997's more truncated SUPER HITS includes a few hits and several strong album cuts. Though it doesn't include some of the best known Loverboy songs (for instance, such hits as "Lovin' Every Minute of It" are missing), such '80s pop rock party favs as "Turn Me Loose," "Lucky Ones," "Hot Girls in Love," "Working for the Weekend," and "The Kid Is Hot Tonite" are featured. Also present are the early MTV favorite "Queen of the Broken Hearts" and the rocker "Strike Zone" (both taken from the band's hit '83 release KEEP IT UP). For a budget-priced, straight-to-the-point collection of Loverboy, SUPER HITS is hard to beat.
