Album Overview
Melanie Martinez introduced the world of Cry Baby with her 2015 debut studio album, Cry Baby. Built around the title character and a darkly playful visual universe, the album combines alternative pop, electropop, hip-hop-influenced production, and theatrical storytelling while exploring vulnerability, relationships, insecurity, identity, and emotional growth.
This expanded deluxe edition brings together the original 13-track album with three additional songs: “Play Date,” “Teddy Bear,” and “Cake.” Previously available digitally and on the out-of-print Extra Clutter EP, the bonus tracks extend the album to 16 songs across four vinyl sides.
The expanded sequence includes favorites such as “Dollhouse,” “Carousel,” “Soap,” “Pity Party,” “Pacify Her,” and “Mad Hatter,” before closing with the three deluxe tracks. The accompanying booklet is also expanded with new illustrations created for the additional songs.
This 2023 European reissue presents the complete deluxe album across two transparent baby blue vinyl records through Atlantic Records.
