Album Overview
Melanie Martinez expands the world of PORTALS with this deluxe edition of her third studio album. Originally released in 2023, PORTALS marked a dramatic transformation in Martinez’s visual and musical storytelling, exploring death, rebirth, identity, relationships, and the cyclical nature of life through an immersive alternative-pop world.
The deluxe edition expands the original 13-track album with three additional songs: “POWDER,” “PLUTO,” and “MILK OF THE SIREN.” Together, the 16 tracks move from the opening “DEATH” through songs including “VOID,” “TUNNEL VISION,” “THE CONTORTIONIST,” “NYMPHOLOGY,” and “EVIL,” before concluding with the three deluxe bonus tracks.
This 2025 release marks the first time the complete PORTALS (Deluxe) album was issued on vinyl. The set presents the album across two milky-clear vinyl records housed in a gatefold sleeve with alternate artwork and printed inner sleeves.
Designed as a larger collectible experience, the limited-edition box set also includes a 20-page lyric booklet with additional artwork and Portals the Game, a board game designed by Melanie Martinez. The game includes a custom six-sided die, game board, rulebook, score sheets, four player tokens, and 36 game cards themed around Karma, Reincarnation, Regression, and Soulmate concepts.
