Released under the Metal Fingers alias, MF DOOM’s Special Herbs series is one of the most acclaimed and expansive instrumental hip-hop projects ever. Volumes 7 & 8 continue the collection, showcasing DOOM’s signature ear for loops, dusty samples, and inventive beats that blur the lines between jazz, funk, soul, and raw hip-hop minimalism. From series exclusives to reworked versions of tracks used across his alter-egos (Madvillain, Viktor Vaughn, King Geedorah, KMD), these volumes capture the Super Villain’s endlessly creative sound.

This reissue arrives pressed on sky blue double vinyl for the first time, packaged in a 12" top-opening die-cut gatefold jacket with a removable “rolling paper” poster insert, printed sleeves, and marketing sticker.
