Album Overview
Carnavas is the debut studio album from Silversun Pickups, originally released in 2006 through Dangerbird Records. Produced by Dave Cooley, the album established the Los Angeles band’s distinctive combination of fuzzy guitars, driving bass, atmospheric keyboards, angular drums, and melodic vocals.
The eleven-track album features “Lazy Eye,” “Well Thought Out Twinkles,” and “Little Lover’s So Polite,” alongside songs including “Melatonin,” “Future Foe Scenarios,” “Rusted Wheel,” “Dream at Tempo 119,” and “Common Reactor.” Its blend of indie rock, shoegaze textures, and dynamic guitar-driven arrangements helped define the band’s early sound.
This 2024 U.S. reissue presents the complete album across two vinyl LPs in a gatefold sleeve and includes a download card through Dangerbird Records.
