Album Overview
Swoon is the second studio album from Silversun Pickups, originally released in 2009 through Dangerbird Records. Produced by Dave Cooley and mixed by Tony Hoffer, the album expands the band’s combination of distorted guitars, atmospheric textures, melodic hooks, and dynamic shifts into a bigger and heavier sound.
The ten-track album features “Panic Switch,” “The Royal We,” and “Substitution,” alongside songs including “There’s No Secrets This Year,” “Growing Old Is Getting Old,” “Sort Of,” and “Surrounded (Or Spiraling).” Its dense guitar layers and contrasting quiet and explosive passages helped establish Swoon as a defining release in Silversun Pickups’ catalog.
This vinyl repress presents the complete album across two 180-gram black vinyl records through Dangerbird Records.
