Talking Heads expanded their distinctive blend of new wave, art rock, post-punk, and funk on More Songs About Buildings and Food, the band’s second studio album and the beginning of their landmark collaboration with producer Brian Eno. Originally released in 1978, the album sharpened the group’s angular rhythms and unconventional songwriting while producing enduring tracks including “Take Me to the River,” “Found a Job,” and “Thank You for Sending Me an Angel.”
This 2025 Deluxe Edition expands the album across two transparent red vinyl LPs. LP 1 presents the complete original album newly remastered from the original two-track analog master tape, while LP 2 gathers eleven rarities, alternate recordings, and previously unreleased material from the era.
