The Making of Five Leaves Left offers an intimate glimpse into the creative process behind Nick Drake’s iconic 1969 debut. This official 4-LP box set, authorized by the Nick Drake Estate, features over 30 previously unheard outtakes, unaccompanied demos, and studio recordings—curated across three LPs—plus the original Joe Boyd-produced Five Leaves Left album as the fourth disc.

Expertly mastered by John Wood (who engineered the original sessions), the collection also includes a 60-page book printed on premium textured stock, written by Neil Storey in collaboration with Richard Morton-Jack. The book is packed with full recording notes, session charts, and deep insight into Drake’s artistry and process.
