While 2006 was a busy year for the Walkmen, with A HUNDRED MILES OFF and their take on Harry Nilsson's PUSSY CATS released within six months of each other, both projects received mixed receptions, denting the gilded indie-rock reputation that the NYC group cemented on 2004's BOWS AND ARROWS.
