Album Overview
Death to False Metal is a compilation album by Weezer, originally released in 2010. The collection brings together previously unreleased recordings from different periods of the band’s career, resulting in a set that moves through alternative rock and power pop while still retaining Weezer’s recognizable melodic songwriting.
The album includes “Turning Up the Radio,” “I Don’t Want Your Loving,” “Blowin’ My Stack,” “Losing My Mind,” “I’m a Robot,” and “The Odd Couple,” along with Weezer’s version of “Unbreak My Heart.” This vinyl edition also includes “Mykel and Carli” as an additional track.
Released in 2014, this edition marked the first vinyl release of Death to False Metal. The limited-edition pressing was mastered for vinyl by Kevin Gray and pressed at RTI on 180-gram black vinyl. It is presented in a matte-finish gatefold jacket with an 11" × 22" insert and was individually hand numbered.
