Album Overview
SZNZ: Spring is the first installment in Weezer’s four-part SZNZ EP series. Originally released digitally in 2022 to coincide with the spring equinox, the project begins the seasonal cycle later continued by SZNZ: Summer, SZNZ: Autumn, and SZNZ: Winter.
The EP features “Opening Night,” “Angels on Vacation,” “A Little Bit of Love,” “The Garden of Eden,” and “Wild at Heart.” Its bright, melodic sound incorporates alternative rock, power pop, folk-inspired instrumentation, and themes drawn from springtime, classical music, mythology, and literature.
This 2023 indie-exclusive limited edition is pressed on glow-in-the-dark vinyl and expands the original seven-track digital EP with the vinyl-exclusive bonus track “Across the Meadow.”
