Album Overview
Weezer return with another self-titled album on Weezer, their 20th studio record and the release informally known as the Gold Album. Released in 2026, the album finds Rivers Cuomo, Patrick Wilson, Brian Bell, and Scott Shriner working in an especially collaborative format, with all four members contributing ideas and songwriting to the record.
The 10-track album opens with “Say Yes” before moving through “Shine Again,” “Don’t Make It Weird,” and “We Might as Well Be Strangers,” featuring Wednesday. Side one closes with “C.E.O.,” while side two continues with “Hoops,” “Nowhere,” “The Show Must Go On,” “Up in the Clouds,” and “The LA Sound.”
Produced by Kenneth Blume and Klas Åhlund, Weezer brings the band back toward a guitar-driven rock sound while emphasizing full-band collaboration and direct songwriting. The album continues Weezer’s long-running tradition of self-titled releases identified by the dominant color of their artwork.
This 2026 edition presents the complete 10-track album on standard black vinyl through Reprise Records and Crush Music.
