1970s rockers Wishbone Ash are celebrated in this 13-track COLLECTION of highlights. This edition of Spectrum's Collection series gathers tracks from Wishbone Ash. The set isn't comprehensive by any means; completists should steer towards the three-disc Distillation, or MCA's two-disc retrospective of the group. And, though it includes hits like "Warrior" and "Jail Bait," Collection does run out of steam toward the end, with two early-'80s stinkers. For the most part -- or at least for those on a budget -- it's a decent introduction to the Wishbone Ash's shifting '70s sound. ~ Johnny Loftus
