SSVU
Explore Vibin' Vinyl's collection of SSVU vinyl records, limited editions, Record Store Day releases, and collectible pressings. SSVU is an art-rock collaboration featuring Silversun Pickups and producer and musician Butch Vig, bringing together the band's atmospheric alternative rock with an experimental approach inspired by real-life stories and pop-culture encounters.
The project emerged from the creative energy surrounding Silversun Pickups' Physical Thrills sessions. Conversations about Vig's encounters with notable artists and cultural figures began turning into songs, eventually leading to tracks like “David Lynch Has a Painting Made of Flies Eyes” and “Suzanne Ciani.” Released together as a limited 7-inch for Record Store Day Black Friday 2022, the songs introduced SSVU as a distinct side project within the wider Silversun Pickups catalog.
For fans and collectors, SSVU offers a more experimental extension of Silversun Pickups' music, connecting alternative rock, art rock, and collaborative studio spontaneity. Whether you're collecting Silversun Pickups side projects, releases involving Butch Vig, or limited Record Store Day vinyl, this collection brings together available SSVU physical releases.
